We're Seeking Costumed Characters!

Performers of all ages are needed. You do not have to be an actor, just love to recreate history and a living reenactment of Huntsville in the 1800’s. Director/instructor Mary Allen-Keating is teaching our players how to entertain and interact with festival guests.

It is our task to fill the festival with a cast of costumed characters from the 1800's. We're creating a genuine historic experience for festival-goers at this year's three-day event on May 13th, 14th and 15th. (Performance days are flexible; troupe members are not required to attend all three days) We meet in the Walker Education Building located behind the museum at 1402 19th Street, Huntsville, TX 77340.

Meeting dates for performance troupe (7pm each evening):
March 3, March 17, April 7, April 21, May 5 (tentative), May 12
New members may join up through the April 7 rehearsal.
